It is a valid and more secure alternative to the printed card. eCards can also be printed. eCards are issued by AHA Training Center Coordinators and Instructors to students who successfully complete all requirements of an AHA course
The PALS Provider Course is designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest in pediatric patients. This course uses precourse preparation, didactic instruction, and active participation in learning stations and simulated cases

AHA provider eCards are available for purchase only to authorized AHA Training Center Coordinators. Training Centers are responsible for allocating and/or monitoring eCards for Training Sites.
Course Intended Audience:
The PALS Course is for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest in pediatric patients. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, and others who need a PALS Course Completion Card for job or other requirements.
