20-3555 HeartCode® Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Online

Part # 20-3555 HeartCode PALS Online is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method that uses adaptive learning technology for the AHA’s PALS Course. HeartCode PALS Online delivers quality resuscitation education by utilizing a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, Cognitive Assessment Activities, illustrations, knowledge checks, and interactive activities. This self-paced delivery method provides learners a personalized learning path that adapts in real-time to the learner’s performance. Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each knowledge check and each Cognitive Assessment Activity. This method of learning provides training consistency and adaptability to different learning styles. Providers first complete the cognitive portion of HeartCode PALS Online and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA PALS Instructor or on a simulation station, using voiceassisted manikins with real-time audio and visual feedback. Upon successful completion of the online portion of HeartCode PALS Online, a certificate of completion will be issued and can be printed in English only.

This course includes a drop-down menu that allows the learner to take the course in one of two languages: U.S. English or IVE. Included in HeartCode PALS Online is a translated version of the PALS Provider Manual eBook (Based on the language selected)
